I strongly believe that everyone has the right to music. Music touches us, empowers us, strengthens us, and brings us joy. By learning from each other and sharing knowledge, we can strengthen the quality of music education together. Music supports mental health, brings people together, and speaks to the heart and soul of every human being.
As the executive director of the Finnish Association of Music Schools since 2024 and previously as a dean and lecturer in percussion music at the University of the Arts Helsinki, I have broad experience in music education at different levels – I strive to see the bigger picture and understand cause-and-effect relationships and look for new, timely opportunities to achieve goals. I am a team player and a versatile music professional with wide-ranging expertise, always eager to learn and continuously develop myself.
