A central focus of the meeting was the development of MusiQuE’s Strategy 2026–2030.
Building on discussions held over several previous meetings, the Board finalised the strategy, together with refreshed statements of mission, vision, and values.
The plan is built around three pillars:
- Communication, focused on increasing MusiQuE’s visibility and influence and strengthening partnerships with key organisations in the performing arts sector;
- Capacity Building, aimed at developing training opportunities and creating a specialised resource hub on quality enhancement for education in the performing arts;
- Services, centred on increasing the relevance and efficiency of MusiQuE reviews and supporting organisations in their enhancement journey beyond the review process
The Board reviewed the results of a market study and financial projections prepared by the MusiQuE Office, and engaged in a workshop to define the strategic direction for the next five years. This session led to the finalisation of MusiQuE’s vision, mission and values, as well as the approval of the Strategic Plan, which will be published on their website shortly.
Strengthening partnerships and external relations formed another key topic, with dedicated discussions on enhancing collaboration and mutual benefits with MusiQuE partner organisations and other network organisations such as the EMU.
